We've been supplying medical grade chemical peels for at home use for over 12 years now and our Better Complexions TCA and glycolic acid chemical peeling products are some of the best available. Chemical peels are one of the most commonly performed treatments by dermatologists, cosmetic surgeons and spas because they're one of the most effective treatments available. Chemical peels work by speeding up the exfoliation process which in turn also boosts the production of collagen and elastin within the skin. The exfoliation helps to remove rough skin, blemishes and the damaged outer layers of skin revealing the new skin underneath while the increase in collagen production helps to firm out fine lines, wrinkles and scars from below.
Chemical peels can help treat fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes, age spots, acne, even out skin tone, increase the production of collagen and elastin and treat numerous other skin conditions.
What's the Best Type Of Chemical Peel For Your Skin?
Glycolic acid peels are less aggressive than TCA Peels and are suitable for both dark and fair skin types. Darker skin is softer and people with darker skin types should use caution when using TCA solutions at home since they are stronger and can damage their soft skin. Positive results can be achieved with TCA peels of up to 30% on darker skin types but the chance of complications such as post peel hyperpigmentation is increased. We recommend beginners of any skin type doing this for the first time at home start out with lighter diluted peeling solutions and work their way up to stronger deeper peeling. Lighter solutions are 30% glycolic acid and up to 15% TCA solutions. A 35% TCA peel is a medium to strong peel that will require at least 7-10 days of initial peeling and healing time but the amazing results are considered worth it to many people.
Our chemical peeling products come with complete instructions and you can get numerous peels out of each bottle of solution.
