When you think of herbs, you may think of them in terms of cooking with them and health benefits of consuming them for your dietary well-being, but herbs can also be used for skin lightening purposes. Many skin lightening products contain herbs in addition to vitamins, acids and fruit extracts, and during ancient times people used herbs as part of their skincare regimens long before the arrival of modern skincare products in the early 20th century. Using herbs as a skin lightening is also convenient and affordable as you can grow these herbs in your backyard and you can also purchase them at the supermarket. Using herbs as a skin lightening tool in addition to other whitening ingredients will also help ensure that you’re getting natural and safe result.

Lady’s mantle is an herb that is good for skin lightening and it helps fade freckles and age spots. For best results crush fresh lady’s mantle leaves to get the juice from them, and then apply the juice to your skin. Chamomile is also effective for skin lightening and you can lighten your skin with this herb by making hot chamomile tea, letting it cool for fifteen minutes and soaking your hands in the tea. When you do this every day, you’ll notice a gradual lightening on your hands. Horseradish is another herb that works well whitening the skin. You can make a facial mask by combining a teaspoon of ground horseradish, a half teaspoon of lemon juice and some white vinegar and apply it to your skin. You can also combine yogurt with some grated horseradish and rub on your skin for lightening purposes. Be careful not to use this mixture near eyes or open wounds. Turmeric has long been used as a skin whitening herb in Asia, and you can use it for skin lightening purposes by combining a teaspoon of turmeric with water or milk to make a scrub for effective results.

Before you use herbs for skin lightening benefits, it’s a good idea to talk with your dermatologist to see if you have any allergies or medical conditions that may negatively affect your ability to use them. You should also research the herbs you’re interested in and read about their roles in skin lightening because you want to be sure that you’re using herbs that are safe for your skin. If you’re unable to purchase or grow herbs you can buy products that are already enriched with herbs as well as vitamins for effective skin lightening results.

i had alot of zits but got rid of them by eating good food, and COMPLETELY gteting rid of stuff like coca cola, sugary food, greasy french fries, candy, factory food’, you get the idea. zits come from the inside, they come from the crap they put in food that comes out of factories . i read ph miracle by dr robert young and that helps. try drinking 1 squeezed lemon in a glass water per day and watch what happens to your energy level and skin . amazing.
